Marina Squerciati was born in New York City to Italian parents. She is the daughter of author and academic Marie Squerciati. She earned a B.A. in theater from Northwestern University in 2003.
Squerciati received the Agnes Moorehead Award for her performance as Judy Holliday in the Lucille Lortel Theatre’s off-Broadway play Just in Time: The Judy Holliday Story. Squerciati made her Broadway debut in Tony Award winner Casey Nicholaw’s adaptation of Ernst Lubitsch’s To Be or Not to Be.
